Signing up is easy!

      I’ll be at the libraries below, by appointment. I’ve included my general availability (keep on top of the schedule and get the exact times here). The $12 convenience fee is waived if you schedule a tutoring lesson at one of these locations on the day I’m there.

      Logan Square （TUES free before 4PM）

      Lincoln Park （WED free before 4PM or after 7PM）

      Blackstone （THURS free between 12PM and 2PM or after 4:30PM）

      Oriole Park / Austin-Irving （ANY DAY/TIME, no $12 convenience charge, if scheduled at least 3 hours before the lesson and I’m free）Not available for 15- and 30-minute lessons.

    • YOUR CHOICE OF LOCATION
      If you want to meet at a different public location or on a day other than what’s listed at one of the first 5 libraries above, choose Location option 3 Public spot from the dropdown and please either state where in the checkout notes or email me after you purchase lessons. Not available for 15-, 30- and 45-minute lessons.

Description

Concentrate on your studies instead of trying to figure out if lessons are covered with this monthly subscription.

The plan you choose won’t limit your schedule. If you need to move lessons to later in the month because of a vacation or an emergency, we can combine the minutes into a longer session or do more sessions in a week. You can also push your lessons back a week or do it on a different day that week.

You can pause or cancel at any time. (Since this is automated, your credit card may still be charged depending on when you cancel. If this happens, submit a refund request as soon as possible and I’ll look into it.)

After you purchase some lessons, you’ll receive an email asking you to fill out this booking request form so I have info on your Japanese goals and ability.

If we’re already connected through email and we’ve talked about what you want to get out of your tutoring lessons, you can continue emailing me and just send me dates and times you’re free.

Here is my Availability Calendar so you can narrow down the dates. It shows when I’m already booked. Note that my Availability Calendar reflects only confirmed events and appointments. Other students may have already booked a slot or have a standing reservation by the time you make a request so it’s possible we’ll have to try different dates or times but I’ll do my best to fit everyone in.

Online via Discord or Google Meet. Invitation with chatroom info and other necessary materials will be sent to your registration email at the very latest by midnight of the day you make the purchase.

Pricing

Your credit card will be charged:
— $43 per month for 15 minutes once a week.
— $86.50 per month for 15 minutes twice a week or 30 minutes once a week.
— $173 per month for 30 minutes twice a week or 60 minutes once a week.
— $346.50 per month for 60 minutes twice a week.
— $260 per month for 90 minutes once a week.
— $520 per month for 90 minutes twice a week.

Add 25% of the listed price for each additional person.

Add $3 a lesson for in-person lessons.

Add $15 a lesson if you have your own preferred public location within 15 miles of Harlem Irving Plaza or wish to meet at one of the locations listed above on a different day.

If lessons are booked for in person but ends up being online, this fee will be returned to you in Sambucks.

You can pause or cancel your subscription at any time through your Account Dashboard. You can also email me and ask me to do it for you.

    In 2 months, you’ll learn to nicely ask for and give directions.

    Covers more particles, connecting nouns, languages, general counting, giving and receiving, directions, more verbs, volitional verb conjugation.

    Once a week for 8 weeks. Can be online or in person (preference of the entire class).
